The mission statement offered for the Rainbow Church:

House Of Rainbow is committed to basic Christian Gospel, that the love of God is freely available to all people, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Statement of Vision: We are on a bold mission to transform hearts, lives, and history. We are a movement that faithfully proclaims God’s inclusive love for all people and proudly bears witness to the holy integration of spirituality and sexuality...In a country where homosexuality is a crime punishable by 14 years imprisonment, the establishment of the church is a bold step.

what a wonderful example of christ consciousness in africa. the example of love and extending love without judgement, the offering of grace and eternal life to all without favoritism. sounds like christlikeness.

doubly, interesting are the africans and their new found christian right(being that africa gave birth to the worlds' philosophies though, obstructed and falsified) again, enslave their country men and women by spiritual laws that have nothing to do with spirit but, the flesh. hence, "the spirit is willing but, the flesh is weak" (matt 26:41) and "it is the spirit that draws a man to christ" (john 6:44). more over, it is saddening to view the defiant mask of christian arrogance that bore slavery upon their being-ness.
consequently, the plagues of western thought that automatically restrict or bind anyone who is different by way of religion, instead of embracing or freeing people through love is far from christ who brought the spirit of the law(new covenant). these mindsets under the gauze of christianity become nothing more than ways to control instead of ways to set free. ("who the son sets free is free indeed" john 8:36)
with this incredible stand by the house of rainbow maybe, just maybe africa will begin to fold into itself and take charge of it's own healing and truth. this is a noted stand, tremendous and valiant which speaks to the oppression and the oppressor without and within us all.
