I haven't tried this yet, but could not contain my excitement and had to post prematurely (more later if more details need to be extended). Nature's Flavors offers a CherryDip that can be used for vegan icecream, apples and etc.
Dreamy. I love being Vegan, and with so many truly dope alternatives (Cheezly, Vegenaise, Tofutti Sour Cream and Cream Cheese, Agave Syrup, Rice Milk, Almond Milk, Seed Milk and related alternative dairy products...), I'm thinking there won't be anything not available to Vegans tastewise that can't be made cruelty-free, environmentally sound, and healthy.
Click the Cherries above to purchase the CherryDip at Nature's Flavors.
You can acquire Vegan icecream mix from any of the Vegan online sites (see the Green planet post at the top of the sidebar), make your own with sugar and fruit flavorings and (optional thickener like...) arrowroot, carageenan, or agar blended in Vegan milk (Non-GMO Soy, Almond etc...) then froze (add juice to the milk to make it a sherbet *_^). Some use icecream makers, but you have other options.
If you don't have an icecream maker Vegan Icecream paradise says you can:
"Pour your chilled ice cream mixture into a bowl and stick it in the freezer. During the freezing process, take it out every once in a while and beat it with a hand mixer or whiz it up in a food processor so it doesn't freeze into one solid lump."
