Great quote. I'll think about that for a moment. I have my own personal mantra . . . well it was my modus operandi for 2005.
"Drink Life"
Who is/was Harold Whitman?

I like this quote for sure.
It follows the lines of Joseph Campbell's Follow your bliss
and maybe a dash of Bruce Lee's don't focus on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory from Return of the Dragon.
It is not easy to get to the point of what makes us most alive, there are so much garbage to weed through to get to the center of ourselves where all solutions and answers lie.
I added your "feed" to my igoogle homepage so I am sure not to miss any goodness flowing from you.
Tomorrow I will be participating in the mass meditation. I surely need some tranquility.
Much love my muse.
@ Vee
I wasn't sure myself. I came across the quote randomly, but found some interesting info looking him up...
Apparently alot of folks have attributed the quote to the wrong name. It's said the correct person is Howard Thurman.
Here's a link with a bit more about him:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_Thurman
He authored 20 books that criticised and focused on culture and ethics. He also met with Ghandi, and brought a message back with him from that meeting about Ghandi's vision that African American men would succeed in spreading the message of peace where Ghandi felt he had failed.
Interesting what we stumble onto...
There's no such thing as coincidence for sure.
@Danielle
Joseph Campbell was a deep cat. I caught a 6 hour pbs special that focused on his views. Revolutionary stuff, especially in his time.
I so dig that you'll be joining us for the Mass Meditation tomorrow ^_^
The Full Moon is coming up as well.
I've got my eye on that movement you shared.
^_^
yes, yes.
