Habeas Corpus Restored By The Supreme Court

I told a reporter at a World Can't Wait March in 2006 that Habeas Corpus would be restored. She looked at me like I had a glowing horn protruding from my third eye four legs and a tail, but you know what? I speak from the heart and my intuition is ridiculously on point (ask those who know). It's not that I'm some naive overly optimistic treehugging love-sprayer who will say whatever positive thing I can think up. I am a wise reasonably optimistic treehugging love-sprayer who speaks what I sense.

Apparently my prediction has come to pass, and thanks to the Most High for it.

"In a stunning blow to the Bush Administration in its war-on-terrorism policies, the Supreme Court ruled Thursday that foreign nationals held at Guantanamo Bay have a right to pursue habeas challenges to their detention. The Court, dividing 5-4, ruled that Congress had not validly taken away habeas rights. If Congress wishes to suspend habeas, it must do so only as the Constitution allows — when the country faces rebellion or invasion."

"love sprayer"?

Girl, you are something else.

It is not easy to keep our optimism but we must realize that things will be righted. It is the way of the universe.

God Bless Connected Intuition.

Now, what does your intuition say about Impeachment?

Lol *_^

I am hyped that Dennis is being so vocal about impeachment, but I have a vibe the Bush evilstration will push to the last minute. If he is rightly dishonored with impeachment it will likely be at the last minute, and especially if "they" achieve some more ridiculous goals and no longer mind throwing him under the bus once he's run out of usefulness. Both Bush and Cheney would need to be impeached without compromise for a portion of justice to be served.

I would love to be the voice of optimism on that, and have filled out many an Impeachment petition, but my vibe tells me there's a slim chance. Maybe 10% at most that he'll be removed. It would take rioting in the streets to light the fire under their behinds on that one.
