Indiefied- Jazmine Sullivan

Jazmine Sullivan's voice channels a realness that overrides the unreal usage of the term, almost singlehandedly restoring soul to an industry that can't deny it's slow descent into death, and has of late been showing signs of readmitting talent to the fold, if acts like Anthony David, and Janelle Monae are any indication.

What Jazmine represents is old school soul, with a modern interpretation that doesn't strip the meaning in her music of its majesty. With a voice as serious as the one in her possession, Jasmine is surely aware that the only thing she needs to focus on is the truth in her song and the intimate connection her music makes with the audience.
You could literally listen to her on repeat for hours without needing to switch to another disc, because there's no monotony to break when her voice takes the air in a sonic embrace.

I'm digging her voice. I kept hearing it on the radio, but forgetting once home to look up the singer on the track.

Thanks for the info and the link.
