Mythic Contest Deadline Extension

To afford more time for contestants, the MAJI contest is granting a time extension that will allow the winner to appear in Purple Magazine's Modern Myth issue this year.

The rules are simple:

Create Fan Art of any kind:
(It's an all-age contest so nothing more intense than pg-13 rated please *_^)

-A Fan art Comic strip of Black/Multicultural Faerie 'Maji'
-A Sketch of Black Faerie/Multicultural 'Maji'
-A Fan Art Poem about Black/ Multicultural Faerie Maji

Submit it to by October17th
with a short bip about yourself and a portrait or self-portrait sketch/logo

Check back for the Announcement of the winner on UU and in Purple Mag
slated for October 24th.

The winner will receive a myth written in their honor
compiled and delivered to their email by Dazjae Zoem herself.

If you have not obtained a copy of MAJI, you can request a download link through the email address above for temporary
contest e-copy, to become acquainted with the symbols of your liking
that you would want to base Fan Art upon. You will retain your copyright
but by submitting Fan Art, you agree that Dazjae Zoem will be able to use
the Fan Art in promotions. Dazjae Zoem will retain copyright of the myth
spun in your honor but you will be able to enjoy a creative commons copyright
license to print the work as you desire.

Shine on.

Update (1/2009): The full of title of Maji, is 'The Books of Zambarau- Maji Omnibus'. To avoid brand confusion (with two other books of similar title) moving forward the omnibus will be printed and listed with the full title (this should be finalized shortly on the Amazon page).
