Treehugger.com advises us:
'Check out recycled rings jewellery range, gorgeous and original, totally planet friendly and without the internal conflict that comes with wearing diamonds and other mined gemstones. Other conflict free jewellery includes the GreenKarat and Liana Kabels designs. We love this anti-diamond ring, the envy ring and the best friend ring, each ring is reconstructed from found jewelry and hand sewn/embroidered and embellished. ::recycled rings ::via modish and CRAFTzine.'
Groovy idea.
There are also some beautiful metal and semi-precious alternatives to purchase.

I made my husband promise to not get a ring from DeBeers. We know it came from a safe place, but the very idea of people losing their lives over carbon it doesn't sit too well with me.
Bless you for it.
Everytime I hear someone making a conscious decision, it lends more hope to my heart.
Regardless of what Russell says, there is a problem when people are forced to dig up their own land and jewels to pass over to the wealthy.
