Chromatherapy exercise

About.com has this to say about Chromatherapy:

The history of color has its roots in ancient Egypt, and although I have run across some scattered references throughout the Internet of color therapy having a connection with Atlantean teachings, I don't have any documentation to back that up as factual. Color therapy, also known as chromatherapy, is often facilitated in the healing rooms of alternative health practitioners. A therapist trained in color therapy uses color to balance energy wherever our bodies are lacking, be it physical, emotional , spiritual, or mental. Some of the tools used in color therapy are gemstones, candles, wands, prisms, colored fabrics, bath treatments, and colored eye wear.'

If you haven't worked with color to restore balance to your chi, you will be very surprised at how potent it can be. It heals as well as Reiki, but can be more subtle (we'll have a sign up for the Sunday Reiki list posted soon---Looking for the right widget...). Chromatherapy can also be transmitted through distance, as in Reiki, and Energy Readings with empaths as energy knows no space or time.

We propose an experiment.

Next time you are feeling sluggish tint a glass of water with red coloring or 'charge' water in a red tinted glass for a pick me up (Chromatherapy books swear this makes a color infused tonic), or take a bath in water tinted the color Red.

Next time you feel too hyper or wired, work with the color blue.

Takes notes, and comment back on your experience.
We'll be posting Metaphysical tidbits of worth here and there.
Some of them will require hands on experience for full comprehension of their benefits.

There are so many tools out there...I recommend that you read "Sacred Woman" by Queen Afua if you haven't done so already...colors, flower essences, etc. are discussed in detail. Luv the information you give on your blog...it does have an ethereal feel to it-very different.

Thankyou!
There's so much to our culture and the extended range of hueman culture that I'd like to see us share. I'm trying to see us perpetuating positive archetypes rather than the stereotypes of late...
That's what UltravioletUnderground if all about.
I appreciate the good energy you bring here sistren. Truly.
I'll look for that book.
